Personally I think drills and repetitions are so boring, but they are so crucial for our performance and capoeira game, if we don’t practice the drills then that can lead to bad performance in the capoeira game, including lack of distance, lack of timing and lack of good form. Drills and repetitions can help us improve in many aspects in our capoeira journey, including partner and music practice!… We are living the Internet era, where we get information in a matter of seconds, but when it comes to physical activities we want the same results and sometimes it gets us frustrated because we want results NOW!!… But we (including myself) can’t forget that practice is what capoeira is about.
